Short Ride

THE ACCESSIBLE ALPINE ROUTE

The start of the Petit Tour heads straight for Lavey-les-Bains up the Rhône, joining the pastures that guide you to Bex. You then leave the plain and head up the Avançon to return to the Grand Tour route. The next, more rolling section to Solalex will allow you to extend your lead before the climb to Taveyanne and Bretaye. Then, like the Grand Tour, a final downhill gravel section takes you back to the Col de la Croix road for a final short climb, for which you'll need to be strong enough for the final victory at the top of the Col de la Croix.
With its route combining alpine gravel sections and a substantial vertical drop per kilometer, the UCI Gravel Suisse is a distinctive event on the UCI Gravel World Series calendar.
